During my stay at New Pera, I appreciated the cleanliness and spaciousness of the room, along with the friendly reception staff. However, the lack of an elevator was a hassle, especially climbing the steep stairs with luggage. The location was fantastic, right in the heart of the city, but the noise from nearby nightlife made it hard to get a good night's sleep.

My room was clean and spacious, but the absence of basic facilities like a safe box was a letdown. Also, the decor felt a bit impractical with limited furniture, which made the stay less comfortable than it could've been.
Service

The staff were friendly and always willing to help, but I expected a more robust service, such as daily housekeeping, given the room rate.

The hotel is perfectly located near Taksim Square and Istiklal Street, making it easy to explore. However, the proximity to nightlife means it's quite loud at night.

The hotel lacks amenities like an elevator and daily room service, which detracted from my overall experience. They do offer fresh towels upon request, but having more services would be better.

Overall, my experience at New Pera was mixed. The location was fantastic, right in the heart of the bustling nightlife, which made for easy access to bars and restaurants. However, I did face significant noise issues during my stay and was disappointed with the lack of proper cleaning. The staff was generally friendly, but there was a troubling incident regarding my child's safety that overshadowed my visit.

My stay at New Pera had its ups and downs. The location was unbeatable, right in the heart of Istanbul near Istiklal Street, which made exploring the city easy. I found the room clean and spacious, but there was no safe box, and the lack of an elevator was a challenge for me. Overall, I would say it had good value for the price but be prepared for some inconveniences.

However, the noise levels were unbearable during my stay, mostly due to nearby parties that went on late into the night. cleanliness was also a concern, and I encountered issues that dampened my experience.

While the owner was friendly and tried to be helpful, I felt there was a lack of empathy when I raised concerns. For instance, there was no real follow-up when a serious incident occurred with my son.

My stay at New Pera was quite mixed. On the plus side, the location is fantastic, just a short walk to Istiklal and Taksim Square, making it really central. However, the noise levels during the weekends were unbearable, and the cleanliness left much to be desired, with some unwelcoming surprises in the room. Overall, while it had its charm, I wouldn't recommend it for families or those looking for a peaceful stay.
